Rocks Collect 3-2 Win Versus Vermont
|
The Plymouth Rocks and Vermont Lake Monsters played an exciting game.
Plymouth pitcher Norberto Dávila did his part in helping his team beat the Vermont Lake Monsters, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Shawn Gibson nailed down his 4th save.
Ricardo Vásquez, the 29-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Vásquez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Plymouth up, 3-1.
"Tough loss," said Vermont manager Dylan Smith. "But we'll learn from it."
Plymouth, now 51-45, holds down 4th place in the Menard's AAA.
