Patriots Suffer 4-3 Loss to White Walkers
|
The Buffalo White Walkers did just enough to secure a victory over the Boston Patriots, 4-3, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Nobody did more than pitcher David O'Farrell. Picking up the save was Juan Luis Matos, his 5th. The White Walkers, at 22-20, sit in 5th place in the Premier League.
The Patriots had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the White Walkers going into the top of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 2051 PL home run champion Rafael Trujillo came to the plate. Trujillo hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 cutter from Boston hurler Iiri Lahti. It was Trujillo's 12th double of the year.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Boston manager Tyler Carter said following the tough loss.
