Calgary Lynx starter Patrick Davis turned in an exceptional performance against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Spirits Stadium, resulting in a Calgary win, 4-2. Frank Baldwin earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record is now 5-2. Salt Lake City has now lost 6 straight.

Calgary used the timely hitting of Steven Forrest to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lynx on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Salt Lake City skipper Jay Smith.
