Disaster Win at Florida, 8-3
|
The Port Royal Disaster stopped the Florida Men, 8-3, at Psychos Ballpark. The Disaster got a big game from Gabriel Luzuriaga, who went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Keith Lynskey was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Picking up the save was John Gaudet, his 1st.
In the top of the fifth, with the game tied, Florida allowed the Disaster to go up, 4-3, on a Florida error.
"We'll enjoy this win," said McClerey. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
With the win, Port Royal raised its record to 45-43.
