The Syracuse Starks got a good effort from starter Bryant Clark in defeating the Sunset District Fog at Stark Stadium. The final score was 4-1. The winning pitcher was Clark, now 3-3. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. Isaac Patterson finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Silvio Capitanio, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA in runs scored with 16, aided the Syracuse cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Syracuse manager Allen Carlson.

The win puts Syracuse at 15-13 this season.
