The Port Royal Disaster picked up a win at Ballpark of Port Royal, knocking off the Salt Lake City Buzz, 5-3. On the mound for Port Royal was right-hander Keith Lynskey, who played a pivotal role in the win. Lynskey, now 6-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Port Royal goes to 43-41, Salt Lake City to 47-37.
In the top of the ninth, Anthony Potter stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Buzz were trailing 5-3, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. That's when Ales Kretky made a terrific pitch and Potter lined out. Gone was the dream of a Salt Lake City comeback.
