Fighting Dachshunds Suffer 8-6 Setback
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds and Hamilton Thunderbirds were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Austin Kirkpatrick was a vital contributor to the 8-6 Hamilton victory over Ellenburg. The Thunderbirds right fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Hamilton now sits in 9th place in the Menard's AAA at 38-40.

Hamilton used the clutch hitting of Flynn Ford to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Thunderbirds the lead, 8-6. For the game, Ford had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
