Chase Sensational for Disaster
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Plymouth Rocks and Port Royal Disaster get after it.
Right-hander Stuart Chase mesmerized the Plymouth Rocks while leading the Port Royal Disaster to a 4-0 victory. The Rocks, at 44-33, have lost 4 in a row.
Chase, a native of Modesto, California, was dealing all game. He kept Plymouth hitters off-balance, while giving the Disaster 8.1 quality innings. Chase threw 106 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 7.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Port Royal manager Mike Nyberg.
