Humpbacks Stay Hot With 6-1 Win
|
Dave Bass never let Hialeah get something going. The Alaskan right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Humpbacks to a 6-1 win. Morgan Cartier picked up the save for Alaskan, his 1st of the year. The Humpbacks, now 14-6, have been playing some good baseball.
Jason Melton hit a 2-run double off Ricardo Corona in the bottom of the third, which put the Humpbacks in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Melton had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"This game will humble you real quick," said Hialeah manager Billy Strauss.
