Syracuse Starks starter Zuo-lin Liang turned in a top-notch performance against the Norfolk Pajaritos at Norfolk Field. The result was a win for the Starks, 3-2. The win leaves Syracuse with a record of 9-10.

Syracuse used the timely hitting of Silvio Capitanio to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Starks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
