The Bakersfield Nobles topped the Syracuse Starks, 7-5, in USPL Triple A action at Stark Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Bakersfield pitcher and Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, native Mauro Ramírez. Ramírez got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Ramírez allowed 2 runs. Earning his 1st save of the year was David Sullivan.
