Pittsburgh rode a fine outing from starter Júlio Castillo to victory over the Boston Patriots at Pittsburgh Grounds. The final score was 4-2. The loss has the Patriots at 2-2.
Kyung-chul Son was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kingfishers shortstop hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
Castillo told a Pittsburgh Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
