Bullock Plays Big Role in Nashville Win
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Nashville Hot Chickens and the Jersey City Tritons. Nashville won it, 3-0. Nashville starter Caleb Bullock was in command. The 6th-place Hot Chickens now have a 4-game winning streak.
Bullock was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 4-3. In 8 innings of work, Bullock gave up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 5. The Tritons were never able to generate much offense.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Darryl Gordon.
