The Port Huron Blitzkrieg had to overcome a fine performance from Calgary pitcher Dave Lewis to grab a 3-2 win at Lynx Stadium. Lewis allowed 2 runs over 6.1 innings. The Blitzkrieg now have a record of 20-20.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Carlos Núñez's at-bat in the top of the eighth was vitally important. With one out, the Port Huron left fielder hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 3-2 lead.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Núñez.
