Getting an impressive start from Alberto Nieves, Calgary beat Port Royal by the score of 5-0. Nieves, the winner, moves to 3-0. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 2 walks. Hyeong-ro Park closed the game out for Calgary, earning his 1st save.

The Lynx got an important contribution from left fielder Rodrigo Sánchez, who in the bottom of the second punched a 1-1 curveball into right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Lynx ahead, 1-0.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Sánchez told the Calgary Bulletin.

Calgary is now 15-10.
