Romulo Delivers Walk-Off Win for Starks
The Syracuse Starks beat the Hialeah Dodos, 8-7, at Stark Stadium. The Starks got a fine performance from center fielder Roosevelt Cartledge, who went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. Syracuse is now 2-2.

Obiniana Romulo was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Starks shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Cartledge called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
