Lake Monsters Suffer 8-6 Loss to Blitzkrieg
|
Led by Ralph Titus, the Port Huron Blitzkrieg downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 8-6. Titus went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Blitzkrieg. The winner was Port Huron reliever Reynaldo Benítez, now 1-0. The loser was John Noble. Dennis Henry picked up the save for Port Huron, his 3rd of the year.
Samual Kingman helped out the Port Huron cause in the bottom of the third inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
"We'll take this win and move on," said Titus.
With the win, Port Huron is 5-3.
