Pawnee starter Cheol-han Cho put a stranglehold on the Hamilton offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the ParksNRec to a 4-0 win. Cho, now 1-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing no runs.

Santiago García had a timely hit in the bottom of the sixth inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Pawnee second baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the ParksNRec in front, 4-0.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Pawnee manager Edward Whipp.
