Thunder Bay had no answer for Toledo Stingers hurler Ken Wright, who overwhelmed Northern Lions BC hitters as the Stingers coasted to victory, 6-1. Wright went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-3. Jong-beom Park earned the save for Toledo, his 3rd of the year.

Toledo right fielder Guillermo Dettori made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the first. In the contest, Dettori was 3-4 with 2 triples and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
