Patriots Go Down to Defeat, 6-2
|
The Buffalo White Walkers got a stellar performance from pitcher José Ramírez, who handcuffed the Boston offense en route to a win, 6-2, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Ramírez picked up the win for Buffalo, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The win leaves Buffalo with a record of 1-2.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Júlio Sahagún? The Buffalo second baseman had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-0. For the game, Sahagún had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We're all smiles after that win," Ramírez told the Buffalo Gazette.
