The Dungeon in Halifax was the site for Menard's Third League action featuring the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and Nova Scotia Leviathan.

Nova Scotia rode a good effort from starter Nicky Bogdan to beat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at The Dungeon in Halifax. The final score was 6-2. Nova Scotia goes to 9-11.

Nova Scotia took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, John Wilkerson hit a 2-run home run to make it 3-1, Leviathan.

"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Wilkerson told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
