A 4-RBI performance from the slick-fielding shortstop José Costa helped the Ft. Worth Cattlemen beat the Seattle Rocketeers, 6-3. Ft. Worth reliever Miguel Moreno picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Howard Randolph took the loss. At 53-43, Ft. Worth is in 4th place in the Silver League.

Ft. Worth took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Costa hit a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season made the score 4-2, Ft. Worth.

"I still think this team can play even better," Costa told the Ft. Worth Chronicle.
