SMSL Best Mound Performer Named Monday, September 18th , 2051 The USSL Mexican Summer League announced today that Rob Dougherty has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2051. The MSL Oakland starter had everything working for him this past season as he soared to a 6-0 record. In his exceptional season Dougherty chalked up a 1.30 ERA in 41.2 innings with 45 strikeouts and 8 walks. Enemy teams hit .205 against him in his 6 starts. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Han-soo Yang of the MSL Seattle Rocketeers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Kojuro Kitakawa of the MSL Panama City Piranhas finished third with 1 first place vote.
