The future appears bright for the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids relief ace, who captured the award with 2 saves in 21 relief appearances, 34 strikeouts in 36 innings and a record of 2-2 to go with his 1.50 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10.
