SMSL's Best Batter Announced Friday, September 1st , 2051 It was a good month for MSL Panama City Piranhas first baseman Gilbert Bishop, August's USSL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month. Bishop starred by hitting .467 with a .556 on-base percentage. He totaled 14 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Bishop is batting .301 this year with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 153 at-bats. |
