Big Bat Pays Off, Berthier Player of the Week Monday, July 17th , 2051 Alec Berthier stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the USSL Mexican Summer League Player of the Week honors. The MSL Nova Scotia left fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 6 hits in 12 at-bats and 2 home runs. He put together a sizzling .500 batting average as he knocked in 2 runs and scored 2 times. So far this season Berthier has 5 home runs and a .320 batting average. |
