Monday, September 18th , 2051
The future looks extremely bright for Dale McKinney. At the age of 18, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Mexican Summer League.
McKinney has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .426 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said.
The MSL Colorado Billy Goats star also put up a .561 on-base percentage this year, with 60 hits, 4 doubles, no triples, 26 home runs, 75 RBIs and 50 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Brian Palmer of the MSL Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Joe Brouwers of the MSL Boston Patriots finished third.
