Valentín Grabs PMSL Reliever of the Year Award Thursday, September 14th , 2051 At the age of 18, Armando Valentín says he still has a lot to learn about life in USPL Mexican Summer League. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2051 USPL Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Delgado, El Salvador native said. For the season, Valentín had 3 saves in 12 relief appearances, which totaled 36. He fanned 44 betters, while walking 8 and put up a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.00 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Aad Wapperom of the MSL Buffalo White Walkers finished second in voting, while Armando Palácios of the MSL Hollywood Shredders finished third.
