MSL Colorado's McKinney Snags July Batting Title Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Dale McKinney put together a good July to earn the USPL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to MSL Colorado officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Billy Goats third baseman posted a .463 batting average with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season McKinney has hit at a .457 clip with 64 RBIs, 24 home runs and 41 runs scored. He has played in 35 games. |
