Player of the Week: Windus of the Voodoo Monday, July 10th , 2051 When it came to hitting the baseball, Tom Windus had few peers in the USPL Mexican Summer League this past week. The talented left fielder for MSL New Orleans tagged opposing pitchers for a .667 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 8 hits in 12 at-bats, 4 homers, 6 runs scored and 6 RBIs. Thus far this season in 27 games Windus is batting .255 with 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 102 at-bats. |
