Monday, September 25th , 2051
The future looks extremely bright for Carlos Manuel. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in M3L Low A.
Manuel has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the M3L Low A Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .311 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Ladue Rams star also put up a .392 on-base percentage this year, with 115 hits, 21 doubles, 7 triples, 25 home runs, 75 RBIs and 74 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ángel Montoya of the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople finished second in voting, while Alden Hargrove of the Long Island Ducks finished third.
