Haynes Takes Top 3A- Manager Honors Saturday, September 23rd , 2051 Manager Sal Haynes was speaking before a Bethlehem fan luncheon when word came down that he'd been awarded the M3L Low A Manager of the Year. Haynes's face turned to surprise as the club's owner made the hasty announcement. "Wow... how lucky can a guy be? Manage a great bunch of guys... have great fans... have a great season... and now this... life don't get any better than this." Bethlehem fans applauded, recognizing how fortunate they were to have Haynes at the helm. Both fans and players in attendance toasted their skipper as they truly enjoyed the day. 2051 was an extra-special season for Haynes as he piloted the Bethlehem Angel Kitties to a 59-37 record and a second place spot in the Menard's Low A standings. A record good enough to win the 2051 Manager of the Year Award. |
