Northwest Territory Relief Star Selected Best Pitcher Friday, September 1st , 2051 Yunus bin Ka'im was ecstatic to win August's M3L Low A Pitcher of the Month honors today. The 21-year-old Northwest Territory pitcher thanked fans, his coaches and the voters for the honor -- despite the fact that he deserved much of the credit himself. bin Ka'im's star burned bright last month as he made 12 relief appearances, notching 7 saves and 17 strikeouts in 14.1 innings. He held opposing hitters to a .163 average to put up his 3-1 mark and 3.14 ERA. For the year bin Ka'im has earned 22 saves, made 37 relief appearances, fanned 60 hitters in 46 innings and posted an ERA of 1.76 and a 4-3 record. |
