Bouwman Grabs SA- Best Batter Award for August Friday, September 1st , 2051 Roelof Bouwman is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the North Ft. Myers catcher joined that select company when the USSL Low A announced the results of August's voting. Bouwman totaled 33 hits, 12 walks, 11 home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .452 batting average and .511 on-base percentage. Bouwman is hitting .413 this year with 30 home runs and 69 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .487, 37 walks and scored 60 times. |
