North Ft. Myers-Amarillo Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, August 16th , 2051 If there wasn't a history between Malik bin Nadim of North Ft. Myers and Nolan Macarandang of Amarillo, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," bin Nadim said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Batting .255 to date, bin Nadim has 9 home runs and 28 RBIs. This season Macarandang has gone 2-8 with an ERA of 6.17, posting 61 strikeouts in 86 innings. |
