PA- Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Friday, September 22nd , 2051 Nick Johnston was a calming influence out of the Hudsonville Flanderses bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 21-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Low A Reliever of the Year Award for 2051. The Jacksonville, Florida native won the award with 10 saves in 32 relief appearances, 103 strikeouts in 66.2 innings and a record of 3-2 to go with his 1.89 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Manuel Peña of the Shady Side Zoomies finished second in voting, while Morgan Cartier of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished third.
