Solomonidis Goes on Rampage Against Zoomies Monday, August 21st , 2051 Even as a kid, Panagiotis Solomonidis said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Hudsonville Park today, Solomonidis showed how well he learned that lesson. The 19-year-old center fielder had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Hudsonville Flanderses, helping his team knock off the Shady Side Zoomies by a score of 16-1. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today." Panagiotis Solomonidis hit a solo-shot off Jorge MartÃnez in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Bill Bray in the 8th.
