Quebec City Left Fielder Picked PA- Player of the Week Monday, August 14th , 2051 Quebec City Baby Blues left fielder Pete Black walked away with the USPL Low A Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Baby Blues fans are really behind me right now," said the 21-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Black batted .577 (15-for-26) with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Black is batting .316 with 11 home runs and 29 RBIs this season. |
