Athletic Club KC's Keddy PA- Top Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Ben Keddy of Athletic Club KC had an award-winning July as he took home the USPL Low A Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Keddy's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in July except for Ben." Keddy was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 5-0 record in 5 starts. He struck out 38 batters in 35 innings and kept opponents to a .188 batting average. To date this season Keddy sports a 8-2 mark with a 2.57 ERA in 15 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .212 batting average and has 99 strikeouts in 94.2 innings. |
