Year Over for Hounds Romero Friday, July 14th , 2051 When César Romero was hurt against the Shady Side Zoomies, the Hicksville Hounds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Romero would miss 13 months of the season. So far this season Romero has a record of 2-5 with 70 strikeouts and 29 walks in 72.1 innings and a 2.86 ERA. |
