League Suspends Dooley and Kelly for Fisticuffs
Thursday, May 11th , 2051
Dennis Dooley of the Yakima Hops and Andrew Kelly of the Pine Island Dolphins will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Hops-Dolphins game at Hops Park.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Dooley and Kelly will begin serving them soon.
This year Dooley has collected a .241 batting average to date with 7 hits in 29 at-bats, 6 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 3 times. He has played in 8 games.
