Four-bagger Feast: González Slugs 3 for St. Petersburg

Sometimes it just isn't enough.
Cristián González had an outstanding day at Mariachi Band Shell for the St. Petersburg Thunder today, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Thunder fell to the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 6-3.
González had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 28-year-old first baseman banged out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 3 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Thunder were not able to hold off the Mariachis.
"Baseball is a funny game," González said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out."
Cristián González hit a solo-shot off Mario Domínguez in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mario Domínguez in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mario Domínguez in the 8th.
In 63 games this season González has compiled a .263 batting average with 67 hits and 20 home runs. He has also scored 38 times and knocked in 44 runs.
