Fuller Goes 5-for-5 Sunday, July 2nd , 2051 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Mark Fuller today -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Blues Field, but the performance lost a little luster when the Blues were downed 7-5 by the St. Petersburg Thunder. After his glittering performance, the Barton Springs center fielder told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book today, too," Fuller said. Mark Fuller hit a two-run home run off Nicolas Cernin in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
