Lane Stewart Sidelined for Season Friday, June 23rd , 2051 Lane Stewart will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Barton Springs starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Stewart was injured while throwing a pitch in the Blues-Mariachis clash at Mariachi Band Shell recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 14 months. Over the season Stewart has thrown 40.1 innings and dished out 46 strikeouts with a 1-2 mark and a 2.68 ERA. |
