Akihiro Ito Named Best 3AA Batter in September Sunday, October 1st , 2051 For a rookie just breaking in, Akihiro Ito certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3AA Batter of the Month award for September. The 22-year-old right fielder for the Lancaster Farmers hit .351 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. A check of his lifetime stats shows Ito has played in 238 games with a .280 batting average. Among his 220 hits are 34 home runs. He also has scored 109 runs and driven in 116 runs. |
