Nationals Robby Brooks to Miss Year Sunday, July 30th , 2051 The season is ending on a bad note for Robby Brooks, reliever for the Ottawa Nationals. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Brooks was hurt against the Northville Eclipse while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 13-14 months. This season Brooks has made 3 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 7.45 ERA. In pitching 9.2 innings, he has totaled 6 strikeouts and 8 walks. |
