Drummers Navarro Lost for Year Friday, May 26th , 2051 A blow for Rafael Navarro today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Navarro suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Tortolita Drummers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Navarro's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To this point in the season he has had 3 saves. Navarro has made 8 relief appearances, tossed 11.1 innings and struck out 16 with a record of 1 win and 1 loss. |
