SAAA Top Manager Trophy Goes to Velásquez Thursday, October 5th , 2051 The Milton Dogfish Head had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Gonzalo Velásquez reaped the reward of being voted USSL Triple A Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Velásquez told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Velásquez the Dogfish Head finished first in the Silver AAA with a record of 65-37. |
