Cottongame on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, September 18th , 2051 Veteran Braxton Cottongame had a great week at the plate for the Buzz to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the USSL Triple A. The 34-year-old Salt Lake City first baseman built a .412 average on the strength of 7 hits in 17 at-bats, 4 home runs and 7 RBIs. For the season Cottongame has produced 52 hits in 206 at-bats for a .252 average with 14 home runs and gotten on base at a .319 clip. |
