Hicks Grabs PAAA Reliever of the Year Award Tuesday, October 3rd , 2051 The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the USPL Triple A reliever who put forward the strongest season. This season, that player was Gunnar Hicks of the Athletic Club KC Reserves, who was above all his peers in 2051. "I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year." On the season, Hicks pitched 56.2 innings, with 36 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.22. He also had 3 saves in 31 relief appearances. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10.
